Hello, my name is Fabio Modica and I was born in 1996 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.

I'm a sound designer, sound engineer and composer. I have attained the Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Music, Sound Engineering and Sound Design at the Conservatory of Palermo "Alessandro Scarlatti", a First - Level Master's Degree in Composition, Sound Design and Implementation for Videogames at the Conservatory of Rome "Santa Cecilia", a Professional Certificate in Game Audio Design and Production at "Berklee College of Music" and a Professional Certificate in Computer Science for Python Programming at "Harvard University" Online.
Currently I work as sound designer, technical sound designer, composer and audio engineer at Valko Game Studios with 2 shipped titles, the horror co-op videogames "Labyrinthine" (2023) and "CRYO" (Early Access) and I'm part of a French label, "Fatstep Records", under the pseudonym "Motuka". I worked as teacher of programming and game development at online school Kodland.
In my adoloscence, I started to learn various software about music production and sound engineering. As composer I always experimented using various musical genres and focusing on sound design and on the quality of the projects when I developed and exercised with multimedia projects.
My skills mainly concern granular synthesis but I'm able to work with FM, AM, RM, addictive synthesis, subtractive synthesis and synthesis for formant.
