Dear Sir or Madame,

my name is Fabio Modica, I was born on 28th August,1996. I'm a sound designer, sound engineer and composer. I have attained the Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Music, Sound Engineering and Sound Design at the Conservatory of Palermo "Alessandro Scarlatti" and I have attained the Master's Degree in Composition, Sound Design and Implementation for Videogames at the Conservatory of Rome "Santa Cecilia".

Currently I work as sound engineer, sound designer and composer at Valko Game Studios with 1 shipped title, the horror co-op videogame “Labyrinthine”.

I’m part, under the pseudonym “Motuka”, from 2017 to present, of a French vanity label worldwide (Fatstep Records) also publishing company at the SACEM (the France P.R.O.).

My sound design focused on granular synthesis but I'm able to use other synthesis techniques. I work with Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase and MAX MSP, sometimes also with C Sound, Sibelius, Audio Mulch, Ozone RX and Reaper.

My workflow changes and depends on what I have to do and make. I’m able to use FMOD, I'm a WWISE certified technician and I’m constantly studying the audio implementation beetween Unreal Engine/Unity and middleware. I’m deepening my knowledge in the use of the programming languages “C++” for audio tools programming and “C#” for game building programming. I developed, for myself, different Audio Plugin with MAX/MSP for Ableton Live and others plugin in VST format.

I'm an enterprising and ambitious guy that knows to work in group, to dialogue with the people and manage the time, resources, application, costs, constraints and risks of a project.
